1. Pipal Pustak
Pipal Pustak books are created to assist newly literate people to retain their reading skills and communicate message relevant to the development of their respective communities and personal family life. The booklets are compiled using the “Language Experience Method”, so that the reader can relate his or her own experience with the text. The authors (learners) tell their stories orally and a recorder writes down the words, ensuring that the stories told are true and relate to Nepali people’s real concerns and experiences. This produces text with a natural oral flow and predictability. The adult reader can anticipate what may be coming next, and as they become more familiar with books and reading, they will be able to cope with new and more sophisticated styles of writing.

1.1 The books of simplest level have red cover. Stories constist of about 30 short sentences and are very simple. Red books are meant for people who have been participating in literacy classes for two months. Currently twelve books are published and below in the table the list of books is given:

5. Literacy study books in different ethnic languages
Books allow to provide reading and writing lessons to different ethnic groups in their mother tongue. Currently two books in Mugali language and two books in Karani language are available. Price of each book is 120 NRs.
